Resource page directory – “Twitter Exposed” documentary

This page was created to support the Abramowitz Foundation’s new video:

VIDEO: TWITTER EXPOSED: Enabling the Taliban – but stopping a campaign to rescue US allies FROM the Taliban (11Sept22)

By Jon Sutz

Summary

This page is a directory to all of the resource pages that are cited in the documentary video, “TWITTER EXPOSED: Enabling the Taliban – but stopping a campaign to rescue US allies FROM the Taliban.”

Each of these resource pages contains:

    • Plain-language, evidence-based documentation about the issue, person or organization under discussion
    • Links to key Twitter profiles and Tweets (live and archived)
    • Links to responsibly-written news articles and investigative reports

A rational discussion about Twitter’s decisions can only occur if all interested parties can look at the same bodies of evidence, at the same time.

It is hoped that these resource pages will significantly advance our ability to have such a discussion.

(2) Documentation: Background of Afghan Ally Rescue Campaign, and Abramowitz Foundation written interaction with Twitter

This page contains a chronological presentation of the evidence, in the form of PDFs and screencaps, that documents the following:

    • The origins and development of the Afghan Ally Rescue Campaign, and the 3-minute promotional video that was the centerpiece of the promotion we bought from Twitter
    • The Abramowitz Foundation’s interaction with Twitter’s advertising sales system, and its written estimate of the exposure (“impressions”) that our Afghan Ally Rescue Campaign (AARC) promotional campaign would produce
    • Instead, our campaign received virtually no impressions — because Twitter shut it down, allegedly for violating its “Inappropriate Content Policy”
    • Our written correspondence with Twitter, in which we repeatedly requested specific information on where our promotion violated its policy, and what would be required to become compliant — yet Twitter refused to tell us

(3) The Taliban on Twitter

This page contains documentation including:

    • An overview of what this terrorist group believes, how it acts, and what it wants to achieve
    • Links to the Twitter accounts operated by the top five officials of the Taliban
    • Twitter management’s statements as to why it allows the Taliban to use its platform, despite being a designated terrorist group, which it claims are absolutely prohibited

(4) The Babylon Bee on Twitter

This page contains:

    • An overview of this conservative Christian satire site that lampoons leftist ideology and practices
    • Details about why, in March 2022, Twitter claimed it locked the Babylon Bee’s account — because it “misgendered” a transgender person
    • Because the Babylon Bee refused to remove the post, its account is still locked down

(5) Louis Farrakhan on Twitter

This page contains detailed documentation about Louis Farrakhan, including:

    • Numerous watchdogs including the Anti-Defamation League, the Simon Wiesenthal Center, the Southern Poverty Law Center, Snopes, the Jewish Virtual Library, and the Creative Community for Peace, allege that Farrakhan is one of America’s most influential, long-term inciters of anti-Semitic, racist & anti-LGBT hatred
    • At least three of Farrakhan’s admirers allegedly perpetrated racist murder sprees (that we know of)
    • That Twitter has knowingly allowed Farrakhan to use its platform, despite the hatred & violence he incites
    • The fact that five hours after Farrakhan uploaded to Twitter a video in 2016, in which he said black people should disregard white people who urge peaceful instead of violent means to address grievances, one of his followers went on a racist murder spree — and the video is still posted as of June 2022, and has nearly 400,000 views.

(6) The NY Post on Twitter

This page contains:
    • An overview of the NY Post, America’s oldest newspaper, published continuously since 1801
    • A chronology of Twitter’s decision to shut down the Post’s account, three weeks before the 2020 election, after it published a report that substantively challenge Joe Biden’s denials that he ever communicated with, or profited from, his son’s business contacts
    • The fact that Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s later claimed it was “a total mistake” to shut down the NY Post’s account for this reason, and major news organizations that initially claimed the Post’s report was false, later admitted that it was accurate

(7) Khamenei on Twitter

This page contains documentation of the following information about Ayatollah Khamenei:

    • He is the unelected ruler of Iran, the world’s largest state sponsor of international terrorism, particularly targeting American citizens and soldiers, with deep, proven ties to Al Qaeda
    • He claims Iran has a order from God to wipe America and Israel off the face of the Earth; has been pursuing nuclear weapons for decades, and is now reportedly on the threshold of producing its first device
    • Twitter has allowed Khamenei to use its platform since 2009, and to amass nearly 900,000 followers, because, according to its CEO at the time, it doesn’t want to interfere with his, or other world leaders’ “right to speak and to publish what they need”
